Woman, 36, hunted by cops over racist placard of Rishi & Suella is teacher who grew up in 2m house

POLICE are hunting a teacher who grinned as she held a racist placard depicting Rishi Sunak as a coconut.

Marieha Mohsin Hussain, 36, also had ex-Home Sec Suella Braverman's face on the grim sign at Saturday's pro-Palestine march in London.

The reference is considered a racist slur implying someone has betrayed their race.

But pals of the teacher, who reportedly grew up in a £2 million detached home in Great Missenden, Bucks, claim "there is not a malicious bone in her body".

A friend told The Times: “She is not the sort of person who would ever dream of doing something bad.

"I am sure she would not know it would cause any trouble.”

The Met Police told The Sun on Tuesday no arrests had been made and enquiries are ongoing.

A number of anti-Semitic incidents also took place at the weekend.

Kate Varnfield, 66, an ex-Labour Party activist, was pictured carrying a placard of the Jewish Star of David intertwined with a Nazi swastika.

Below the horror symbol was the slogan “no British politician should be a ‘friend of Israel'”.

Her husband, Terrence, 73, reportedly said on Monday night the pair had been at a police station and did not wish to comment on events.

He told reporters the sign had been “taken out of context”, alleging it is from Raelism, a “UFO religion” which claims an extraterrestrial species created humanity.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said of the marches: “The fear and intimidation the Jewish community have experienced over the weekend is deplorable.

"All criminality must be met with the full and swift force of the law.”

Despite the Met insisting the 300,000-strong pro-Palestine march started off with "no incidents", a group of 150 was stopped after shooting fireworks at cops.

Seven people have been charged and over 145 arrested following a day of chaos on Saturday.

Right-wing and pro-Palestine thugs were among those arrested, cuffed for a range of offences including assaulting police officers.

It comes as three men were arrested over “racially aggravated” clashes with a pro-Palestine group holding a sit-in at London’s Waterloo Station.

A video went viral showing four-letter insults being hurled on Saturday.

Police yesterday visited Kevin Sweeney, 61, at his home West Molesey, Surrey, and were also seen at the home of Arsenal fan James Thomas, 33, in Christchurch, Dorset.

Police confirmed two men, aged 61 and 33, were in custody, plus a man, 57, from Surbiton, South West London.

A fourth man is being sought.

The Met said: "Yesterday a woman attended a police station, after a picture on social media showed a placard depicting two politicians as coconuts.
